How to crochet the Bag

Crochet a chain of 70 ch.

Rnd 1: for the 1st sc, insert into the 4th ch from the hook (= 2 sc), *3 ch, skip 3 ch, 1 sc into each of the next 2 ch, repeat from * to the end of the round.

Rnd 2: 4 ch (? 1 st tr), 1 tr in the next stitch, *4 ch, skip 3 ch, 1 tr into each of the next stitches, repeat from * to the end of the round.

Rnd 3: 2 ch (= 1 st hdc), FPhdc int the next stitch, *4 ch, skip 4 ch, 2 BPhdc, 4 ch, skip 4 ch, 2 FPhdc, rep from *. Crochet 1 hdc in the 4th ch isntead of the final BPhdc.

Rnd 4: 4 ch (= 1 st tr), 1 FPtr in the next stitch, *4 ch, skip 4 ch, 2 BPtr, 4 ch, skip 4 ch, 2 FPtr, rep from *. Crochet 1 tr in the 2nd ch instead of the final BPtr.

Rnd 5 and 6: crochet as Rnd 3 and 4, but now make sure the groups of post stitches will stagger. On top of a group of BPdc, there will be a group of FPdc. Start Rnd 5 with 2 ch, 1 BPhdc, *4 ch, skip 4 ch, 2

FPhdc, 4 ch, sip 4 ch, rep from *. Finish each round with 1 hdc or 1 tr, Rep Rnd 3 to 6 until there are 26 squarres (= total of 52 rounds). Then crochet the final round. Crochet 1 sc of the FPtr and make 3 ch in between.

Finishing

Fold the work in half. Crochet the sides closed with sc. In the rounds, crochet with tr 2 sc between the first 2 tr. Crochet with hdc 1 sc between the 1st 2 hdc. Crochet the other sides together in the same way. At the top of the baf, crochet 2 sc in the 3-ch space and 2 sc in the 2 tr all around. Make 2 more rounds of sc. For each handle, crochet a chain of 60 + 2 ch. For the 1st sc, insert into the 4th ch from the hook and crochet 3 rounds of sc. Weave in all ends on the inside of the bag.
